Redcoat
British redcoat Simon Pure mysteriously became immortal in 1776. Since then, Simon has led a life of adventure, rubbing elbows (and sometimes fists) with many of history’s most renowned figures.
British redcoat and all-around rogue, Simon Pure mysteriously became immortal on Christmas Day in 1776 during the Battle of Trenton after an unplanned run-in with the clandestine cabal known as The Founding Fathers, which included George Washington, John Hancock, and many other prominent American Revolutionary War leaders.
That’s not to say that Simon can’t be killed—in fact, he’s “died” many times as a result of his injuries or illnesses he’s contracted. But it’s never permanent; he always comes back to life within 24 hours or so, give or take (usually).
Since that fateful day, Simon has led a life of adventure and avarice, rubbing elbows (and sometimes fists) with many of history’s most renowned figures—including his nemesis Benedict Arnold—Albert Einstein, Annie Oakley, and many more.
One thing they all agree on: They never want to see him again! But what are the true origins and extent of Simon’s power and the mysterious organization behind them? And how has it secretly shaped America and the world? Simon’s on a quest to find out!
Now with all of time at his fingertips, Simon Pure bumbles his way through astounding adventures, recklessly making trouble before failing to make amends, and leaving his mark on history wherever he goes—whether it’s wanted or not.
