Studio
As the first fully shared, creator-owned universes of characters and concepts, GHOST MACHINE believes in two vital principles.
First, great comics come from great characters. And second, equity comes from true artistic ownership.
Committed to these ideals, and inspired by so many who came before us, GHOST MACHINE is introducing NEW CHARACTERS FROM ALL GENRES with THE UNNAMED, featuring the ACTION-PACKED GEIGER, JUNKYARD JOE, and REDCOAT—the SPRAWLING SCI-FI SAGA of ROOK—the FAMILY ODYSSEYS of THE ROCKETFELLERS and their FRIENDS—our HORROR UNIVERSE, and MORE.
Best of all, we’re only the FIRST WAVE of writers and artists who will form GHOST MACHINE. More will be announced soon!
However, GHOST MACHINE isn’t only for the creators of today, but for the creators of tomorrow. We all dreamed of working for Marvel and DC when we first started out, we don’t want the NEXT GENERATION of artists and writers to simply work for GHOST MACHINE. As our company grows, we will invite TOMORROW’S SUPERSTARS to join our GHOST MACHINE FAMILY and co-own the universes of characters we’re all building together.
CREATORS you know. CHARACTERS you’ll love. Welcome to GHOST MACHINE!
GHOST MACHINE is a creator-owned comic book creative studio founded by best-selling creators including writer and multi-hyphenate Hollywood producer/director/showrunner/screenwriter Geoff Johns (GEIGER), Gary Frank (GEIGER), Bryan Hitch (REDCOAT), Jason Fabok (ROOK: EXODUS), Francis Manapul (THE ROCKETFELLERS), Ivan Reis (HYDE STREET), New York Times best-selling author and TV producer Brad Meltzer (FIRST GHOST), award-winning writer/editor Peter J. Tomasi (THE ROCKETFELLERS), and TV/screenwriters Maytal Zchut (DEVOUR), and Lamont Magee (SOULLESS) and artist Peter Snejbjerg (HORNSBY & HALO). Joining the in-house creative team will be legendary colorist Brad Anderson and letterer extraordinaire Rob Leigh to support all in-house production, which helps GHOST MACHINE maintain complete creative control over the independent, creator-owned comic projects the studio plans to publish in partnership with Image Comics.
